Upaasna (1971)

Ram and Mohan are very close and most inseparable brothers who help each other even in the most difficult time. Ram is a prosecuting attorney while Mohan decides to be a defense attorney. Mohan's sweetheart Shalu rejects his proposal which leads to mohan leaving town. Shalu's boss mistreats her to which she snubs him and leaves. Shalu meets with an accident which leaves her cripple and in the care of Ram, who falls in love with her. Ram writes to Mohan to accept his sister in law and when he returns he is shocked to see Shalu who explains her situation and both reconcile. Ram is enraged and Shalu is accused of murdering her boss. Both Ram and Mohan meet in court where Shalu is almost found guilty until Lilly, the boss's mistress comes and explains the situation and Shalu is freed.
