Wheelchair-bound, divorced pensioner Cheong-wing is looking for a new caregiver since all the previous ones have left because of his rude behaviour. Former Nurse Evelyn travels to Hong Kong from the Philippines to take on the job. However, she does not speak or understand a word of Cantonese. So, Evelyn treats him as she would anyone else: like a human being. With lots of patience and a translator app, they manage to forge a beautiful relationship. Thisheart-warming film also addresses the larger issue of Filipino domestic workers living in Hong Kong.
