Gauri and Shyama are best friends and their friendship is stronger than their love so much that Gauri sacrifices her love not knowing that she carries Anand's child in her womb, and Anand only loves Gauri. Shyama's father Utpal singh is defeated by his Opposition Anand during elections and plans to humiliate and destroy Anand's happiness by separating his brother from him and make Anand's brother leave their household. But Utpal's revenge is crushed by the word 'Cancer' which has attacked his daughter, after which he decides to wed Anand to her. Shyama rejects this proposal as she is aware of Anand's love for Gauri.
