Liberally spiced with modern cinematic elements, this evocative social drama revolves around the fluctuating fortunes of two men, who happen to look identical. When a wealthy young man returns from abroad to mourn the death of his father and claim his inheritance, enemies who seek to possess his wealth, assault him. They keep him captive and drug him incessantly with sedatives in order to make him dependent and submissive towards them. A long-time family friend and his daughter, Radha who is in love with him, identify an identical looking man from an impoverished background. When she investigates the matter and finds out that the man she loves is close to death from a forcible drug addiction, she engages the help of the lookalike to switch places with him. Can they succeed in outwitting the murderous criminals and avenge the injustice?
