Trivia:
In the film's duet songs, the location of Jaipur Palace is changed to Somnath Palace.

Nine cameras were used for the climax scene. Five directors (P.Neelakandan, K.Shankar, MGR, Karnan and Sekar) and four cameramen were needed to shoot it.

Producer and director B. R. Panthalu died during the making of the film. MGR took over the direction and completed the film.

This was MGR's final film as an actor.
