This socially relevant saga depicts the struggles and sacrifices of an impoverished couple, as they find themselves unable to care for their young son. At this critical juncture, a wealthy lawyer comes forward to adopt their son, provide him with every luxury and opportunity that money can buy, if only they would willingly hand him over and disappear from his life forever.
The impoverished couple are distraught by the thought of losing their son. Will they choose to sacrifice everything for the sake of their son's welfare or decide to raise him in abject poverty? Can their son adapt to his new life in the lap of luxury and forget about his parents?
