Lee King (Luxia Jiang) is released from jail shortly after participating in a labour demonstration. When she exits the police station, a pillar box with the royal cypher "EIIR" (for Queen Elizabeth II) is seen. This scene is not specifically dated, but the film's timeline places it between late 1950 and late 1951. Elizabeth II only became queen after the death of her father in February 1952; the box should bear the cypher "GVIR," for her then-reigning father King George VI.
