Riju is a doctor who was seriously hurt when he was hit by a car that belonged to Saheli, who is also a doctor. Saheli moves Riu to her home, nurses Riju back to his health and slowly they fall in love. When Riju returned home, he discovered that his mother had died. He goes to Mathurapur where a doctor called asks for his help when villagers fall ill due to consumption of spurious liquor. On the other hand, Saheli comes to know that she has cancer and goes to the Painless Life Centre". Riju tried to trace her, lands at the Centre and takes her back home to care for her during her last days. She died after a few days.
