Chala Bagundi (2000)

As a youngster, Sivaji saves Vamsi's father from an accident and Vamsi's parents adopt Sivaji as their son and treat him like their own son. Sivaji (Vadde Naveen) and Vamsi (Srikanth) grow up into strapping adults.

One day, while in a drunken state Sivaji tries to rape Seetha (Malavika). She resists and runs away from him. Vamsi marries Seetha to protect her reputation in society. Secretly though, Seetha wants to take revenge on Sivaji.

Eventually, Sivaji realises his mistake and tries to atone for his sins by marrying Ganga, a woman who had a mental breakdown after she was brutally raped. Still seething, Seetha tells him to leave her presence and move out of the city altogether.

Continuing his repentant attitude, Sivaji disappears from the scene. However, Vamsi keeps searching for him. Finally, the truth is revealed and he learns that Seetha was responsible for Sivaji's disappearing act. Finally, Vamsi reveals certain hard truths to Seetha to make her see Sivaji in a new light. Will Seetha forgive Sivaji?
