After losing his parents in a car accident, Mukesh stays at his Aunt's house in Delhi. Enrolled in a good for nothing course in college, he finds peace by spending his free time playing chess at the local cemetery. Often, he also spends time idly ruminating over his future; worrying about ways to make a satisfactory living and to fulfill his responsibility towards his sisters.
However, this is where his seemingly ordinary life begins to take a radically different course. When Mukesh meets Sarika 'auntie' at a kitty party, he is an innocent youngster little or no knowledge of the city and it's ways and means to survive.
Sarika seduces Mukesh; shy and inexperienced as he is, he falls for her. What follows is a cruel tryst with destiny, a kind of story that appears in the tabloids as 'heinous acts of crime'.
