Autonagar Surya (2014)

Set in the 1980s, this fast-paced socio-political thriller revolves around Surya, a young orphan, who grows up into a hot-blooded mechanic. He works in a place called Auto Nagar.

When complex circumstances force Surya to kill a violent goon, he is arrested and sent to prison for a period of five years. During this time, he turns his life around, completes his engineering degree, and embarks upon a dream project to build a battery-operated vehicle, so that when he is released from prison, he can become an entrepreneur.

However, he faces hurdles while working on his project from the Mayor of the city and his henchmen, who control the Auto Nagar area. Can Surya single-handedly defeat his powerful foes, while at the same time fulfilling his dream project?
