The crux of this emotionally charged tale delves into his relationships, the stigma, ridicule and snide remarks he consistently endures from his brother and others. As time progresses, it also sheds light on the sexuality, rituals, customs, angst and preferences of transgenders, highlighting the need for sensitisation among the public, and inclusion of this minority into mainstream Indian society.
