'Anna Bond' is a soulful and socially relevant tale that revolves around Bond Ravi (Puneeth Rajkumar), a sensitive and kind-hearted man with the tendency to go out of his way to help others. He is a master of martial arts, but is intent on being socially accountable, therefore he works at a medical camp in Singapore.
In a serendipitous twist of fate, he meets Meera (Priyamani) in a bus and falls in love with her charm. One day, Meera visits the same village where Bond Ravi lives, to make a documentary film. She stays with her friend Divya (Nidhi Subbaiah). Ravi's love for Meera is at its peak just as Meera is about to complete her work and leave the village, but when he brings up the courage to express his feelings to her, she tells him to achieve something big in life.
Heartbroken, but with the mission to prove himself, Ravi leaves the village along with Chapathi Babu (Rangayana Raghu). On the way, he meets a military officer Chandrakanth (Avinash), who mistakes the identity of Bond Ravi in the forest. The military officer is on a mission to heal and treat the pain of an injured army official, Chandrakanth.
In a further twist, there is a sudden shoot out sudden shoot out in which Bond Ravi comes to Chandrakanth's rescue. Apparently the dreaded drug mafia kingpin, Charlie is looking for his daughter, and thinks that his daughter is with Chandrakanth. Consequently, a complex sequence of events unfold that result in Charlie's ferocious and vengeful attempts to destroy Bond Ravi. In a bizarre attempt to murder Ravi, Charlie's ends up killing his own daughter. In a fit of rage, he kidnaps Meera, with the fully intent on killing her. Will Bond Ravi succeed in rescuing her from Charlie's clutches?
Anna Bond is the second Puneet Rajkumar movie with Duniya Soori after the acclaimed and highly successful 2010 film Jackie.
The song "Kaanadanthe Mayavadhanu," was originally sung by Puneeth Rajkumar, 30 years ago in his father, Dr. Rajkumar's movie "Chelisuva Modagalu". The same song has been sung by Puneeth again in a remixed version in this movie
