Set against the bustling backdrop of Kolkata, this insightful short film takes us on a taxi journey through the twists and turns in a woman's life. Manoj has been a taxi driver for the last 20 years and been witness to many events through his rear view mirror. He has seen the myriad shades of the city, its people, culture and lifestyle. Maria, an enigmatic middle-aged woman gets into his taxi but does not reveal any destination. As Maria, who has lost her self goes on a journey in search of her own identity, the taxi traces the places of her childhood, her dreams, her love. As Maria reminisces, we meet Sarfaraz, her lover, Aditi her best friend and Maria herself, a beautiful young woman with bright dreams for the future. As a result of her desire to marry Sarfaraz, a Muslim man, she is forced to cut off all ties with her family, as they object to the relationship. Did Maria and Sarfaraz elope? Why is Maria alone now? What further destinations will she ask the taxi driver to take her to? How will her future unfold?
