Fred and Welma live next to their neighbors Barney and Betty. Both Fred and Barney work at the Quarry. As a thank you to their friendship, Barney helps Fred cheat in an exam that guarantees a big job. The job comes at a price as Fred starts changing and Barney is forced to make a living by waiting. To make things even worse, Cliff Vandercave starts using Fred to bankrupt the quarry.
