Surveillance zone is a suspense thriller about a 40yr old policeman Rangasamy who is the father of young daughter Thulasi. He has been assigned for surveillance monitoring for few weeks, reporting Assistant Commissioner Baskar. Assistant commissioner Baskar claims Rangaswamy that her daughter was missing and in need of unofficial help. The whole movie revolves only with the CCTV footage/camera. Rangaswamy tracing out all the CCTV footage for any possible clues to her whereabouts. Rangasamy’s life was shattered in one night by losing his daughter in an accident. His investigation removes the knots of all twists and suspense of this case.
The movie had its worldwide premiere at the International Indian Film Festival Toronto.
The movie was chosen as the finalist at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival and as the semi-finalist at the Near Nazareth Festival Israel.
The movie received a special mention at the 9th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival.
The movie was officially selected at the following award functions - Rome Independent Prisma Awards, Berlin Flash Film Festival, Miami Independent Film Festival, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival and the Beyond Earth Film Festival at Calcutta.
