Rajoo is a dream merchant who comes to the village of Anandpur and see's people struggling under the tyranny of the Thakur and gives them hopes and raises their dreams. When the realise his words come true they assume he is a saint which he denies. Rajoo comes across a gypsy woman Mahi, who falls in love with him and tries to seduce him with great difficulty. Thakur's daughter is actually born to him and another gypsy woman. The gypsy had switched her child with Thakur's wife's child and plans to give her daughter a good future. When Thakur tries to find a suitable groom for his daughter Ranjana. Ranjana meets with Rajoo who approaches them and he promises to marry her. Thakur disapproves of him due to his popularity. Will the people accept his presence in town and Will the secret behind Ranjana's birth be revealed?? What happens to Mahi's love for Rajoo when she learns about his promise??
