Born to the Oligarch family, young Grigory is a spoilt irresponsible boy who thinks he can get away with anything and faces jail time for going too far with his escapades. His father decides to fix his son by hiring a psychologist to rehabilitate his unruly son. They decide to set up an arranged car accident making him think that he's gone back in time and create a make-believe environment where he is reincarnated as a serf who lives in a barn on his master's estate. He meets some hired actors who pose as people and interact with him while the team of psychologists watch his every move through the video cameras. Here he learns to communicate properly with people, appreciate the simple pleasures in life, discover his true self and find true love.
