I feel Anand Shankar has tried to emulate Shankar by making a movie like Irumugan, but he has failed miserably. Starting off with the story. It's very cliched and the lack of thinking gone into it surprises me, considering the star cast of the movie. Anand Shankar did a good job with his first film, but his second is a big let down. Irumugan is a perfect example of Tamil movies with big budgets and stars do not have good content and these movies are made with just the financial aspect in mind. Vikram's choice of scripts have become very bad over the years. Barring 'I' ,which was also only an average movie that was saved by Shankar's name and the amount of hard work put in by Vikram for his role. Since Anniyan I cannot remember a movie of Vikram that I enjoyed. After Irumugan, Vikram should realize that he needs to do movies that have some amount of content in them. I had high hopes for this movie but again I feel like i have been robbed of my 150 bucks. Overall Irumugan is a movie which I would rate as one of the worst movies that I have ever watched.
Good movie new thinking and it is an information to the people on how we react when we are under fear
