Trivia:
In an interview with Dread Central, creator Jeffrey Reddick mentioned that the new film will diverge from the traditional formula that the series is known for.

Tony Todd reprises his role from the Final Destination films.

Teo Briones joined the cast and is known for portraying Devon Sawa's son on Chucky. Sawa is best recognized for his role in the original Final Destination (2000).

Although an early treatment explored the dangerous realm of first responders, this concept was ultimately abandoned due to difficulties in crafting a coherent and satisfying third act. The official script by Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick is rumored to retain some elements from the initial treatment, such as certain death scenes, but it now centers on an original story that examines how Death’s design impacts the bloodlines of surviving family members.

This is the first Final Destination film released in 14 years.

On September 23, 2022, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein were officially announced as co-directors for the project. As passionate fans of the series, the duo went above and beyond during their pitch meeting with the studio over Zoom. They staged a dramatic death scene using a mix of pre-recorded footage and visual effects, depicting a fire and a malfunctioning spinning ceiling fan that broke loose, decapitating one of the filmmakers. The unconventional presentation left everyone involved—including executives and producers—bursting into laughter.
