F 7 - A Tribute to Paul Walker

I couldn't miss this sequel after watching that phenomenal stunt in the trailer . The movie is action packed with super cars and weapons and mind blowing stunts . It would have been great if the screenplay and story
line had some inner strength . As usual it goes with the same old fashion of re-union and chasing down the villain which is old school . Gravity defying stunts would take to the edge of your seat , so buckle up .
In the end its a tribute to the late actor Paul Walker who died in a car accident . If this is the last part of the Fast and Furious , you must watch and finish this novel .

Take care and have fun . :)

India is becoming a major opening hub for the big Hollywood releases, last Thursday we saw the release of 7th installment from the world’s renowned movie franchise “Fast & Furious”. This movie is famous for many reasons, and this time it’s kinda special being one of the crew member and the lead of the movie passing away. Paul Walker met with a tragic accident leaving the entire team in despair. It did not stop them, they kept the show running and created a flick which had the biggest domestic and international opening making the first Hollywood flick to have the highest number of IMAX screens to be featured.

James Wan made a jump from horror to action, he did a great job at keeping the action alive throughout with no interval for breathing, but took a hit on the screenplay it does not actually makes sense, the movie runs at godspeed and action covers the flaws in the screenplay.

This sequel starts with Deckard Shaw seeking revenge for making his brother Owen Shaw crippled. He doesn’t leave one chance in making everyone behind this pay for what they did, this leads to chaos hurting each and everyone from Toretto’s crew.

FF7 brings the most entertaining action which spells MASS in the local language making each and every scene laudable. There are few scenes which are most likely to be copied by our Bollywood and Kollywood brothers. The action is taken to the next level with super cars. These are not superheroes with special powers but normal people with impeccable driving and action skills.

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson did the heavy lifting in the flick, whereas Jason Statham makes his fists do the talking. These three when are pitted against each other makes the action hotter than it is. The ladies are tremendous too, Michelle Rodriguez is the tom boy who can give any man a run for their action, Jordana Brewster handles the emotions well. In this high octane action two men Ludacris and Tyrese ease the tension by their witty comic sense. Among all these a new character Nathalie Emmanuel(Ramsey) sets the hot quotient ringing.

Among all this, one character stands out and makes a special space in everyone’s heart, that’s Paul Walker. You keep watching the movie and forget that he’s gone until the climax, the movie which runs on Nitrous throughout halts at a very emotional note with Vin Diesel pouring out his heart for Paul Walker. The climax was very mellow and was given a standing ovation when the screen featured “FOR PAUL”. He will be missed and remembered throughout for being part of an amazing franchise which set a trend across the globe for souped up cars and street racing.

A movie of this caliber requires a skilled set of technical crew. The action was mind blowing which took everything to next level by throwing cars from the sky attached with parachutes, the car swap and the bus convoy. There are more to add, it’s better you watch it yourself to experience the rush. Andy Gill & Jack Gill did a tremendous job on making every jaw drop with excitement. This high speed action was skillfully captured by Stephen F. Windon. Which was meticulously cut keeping the pace intact by the trio Christian Wagner,Leigh Folsim Boyd & Dylan Highsmith.

Fast and Furious 7 is a worthy watch for the car lovers and the one’s who favor hard core action. The movie has everything to go for a commercial entertainer. They gave a very warm tribute to Paul Walker bidding good bye, which made everyone love this more than it should. FF7 runs on top gear right from the beginning with no interruption diverting everyone from the flawed screenplay keeping the audience at their edge of the seat.
