Daniel Brühl was born on the 16th of June 1978. He is a German actor who debuted at a young age in the German soap opera Forbidden Love (1995). He received wide recognition and critical acclaim for the German film Good Bye, Lenin! which garnered him the European Film Award for Best Actor and the German Film Award for Best Actor. He has worked in both European and American productions in several different languages and he debuted to the U.D. audiences with Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, and also appeared in films such as The Bourne Ultimatum, The Fifth Estate and A Most Wanted Man. He received widespread critical acclaim and further recognition for his portrayal of former Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda in the biographical film Rush and in 2016, he made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War, portraying Helmut Zemo.
