A 30-something, self-help addict Lou Farnt wants to claw herself off of her overly controlling mother and her sleepy seaside town where she grew up. When Lou meets a strange and strikingly confident new life coach Val who invites her for a road trip of alternative therapies it turns into a transformative experience for Lou to leave and become the perfect person to be. Unfortunately for Lou, her new life coach happens to be a serial killer.
